Roberto Esposito (Piano di Sorrento, Italy, 1950) is one of the greatest living philosophers. He is considered one of the leading thinkers in contemporary Italian thought and in the reflection on biopolitics. He is currently a professor of theoretical philosophy at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, Italy.
