Abstract

Este ensaio constitui uma síntese da nossa reflexão sobre os valores da modernidade, sustentados na trilogia ciência/tecnologia, liberdade/igualdade e progresso, à qual subjaz o princípio da valorização do mundo terreno, e sobre a forma como estes axiomas são postos em causa pelo pós-modernismo, ao trazer a debate novas preocupações ligadas ao ambiente, à justiça e ao direito à diferença.
