About the Journal
Aims & Scope
The e-Letras com Vida — Revista de Estudos Globais: Humanidades, Ciências e Artes [e-LCV] is a biannual scientific journal of the Centre for Global Studies of Aberta University (CEG/UAb), in partenrship with the European Institute of Cultural Sciences Father Manuel Antunes (IECCPMA]) and the International Society for Iberian-Slavonic Studies (CompaRes). It aims to disseminate, at http://e-lcv.online/index.php/revista, original studies on Literature, especially seen in its cultural inscription and in dialogue with History, Philosophy, Arts and Sciences.
The e-LCV includes a thematic dossier, a section of multi-thematic articles, an interview, a reading section (reviews, critical reviews, short essays) and a the presentation of a project held by CEG-UAb.
Only unpublished articles written by authors with a PhD degree will be accepted. In case of co-authorship, at least one of the authors must be a PhD.
e-LCV will publish the approved articles in the following languages: Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English.

The anonymity of the parties is ensured in the peer review process.

e-LCV is an open access journal functioning under the principles of the society of knowledge, which is intended to be free, informed, supportive, and sharing knowledge. Authors remain the copyrights holders and grant third parties the right to use, reproduce, and share the articles, according to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Publication Fees
e-LCV does not apply to authors' article processing charges (APCs) or any other fees for the submission of manuscripts, editorial work on the texts, or for their publication. Access to archived issues is also free of charge.
Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections
e-LCV encourages post-publication debate by submitting a letter to the editor. Any corrections or retractions after the publication will be published with the original article.
Archival Policies
The journal is freely available at REPOSITÓRIO AbERTO (Open University) and RCAAP (Open Access Scientific Repositories of Portugal). Authors may request the archiving of any version of their articles at the REPOSITÓRIO AbERTO, and are also encouraged to proceed to self-archive their published articles in the repositories of their institutions. This journal uses the LOCKSS system to creat an archival system.
